The Dehesa, like El Encinar de Poniente, is a unique ecosystem of centuries-old holm oaks, rich biodiversity and an ideal microclimate. Here, traditional and sustainable farming goes hand in hand with continuous attention to animal welfare.
THE MONTANERA : TIME FOR MAGIC
During the Montanera (acorn-finishing season), from October to February, the estate is transformed.
The climate reaches its optimum conditions, acorns become abundant and the pastures flourish.
It is the moment when the Ibérico pig naturally finds everything it needs to feed.
THE ACORN : NATURAL SUPERFOOD
The acorn is a natural source of monounsaturated fatty acids, particularly oleic acid, while also providing natural antioxidants, minerals and slow-release energy.
